DANIEL FETECUA

RESIDENT CHOREOGRAPHER

Daniel Fetecua is the founder of Daniel Fetecua Productions, based at ID Studio Theater in NYC. The organization promotes dance through two companies: Pajarillo Pinta’o, which preserves Colombian traditional dance, and D-Moves, a contemporary project combining Colombian traditions, modern dance, and German TanzTheater.

Daniel is a master teacher of the Limon technique, a reconstructor of Limon’s repertory, and a faculty member of the Limon Institute. He has led educational projects such as Cumbia for Kids, DanSure/DanSouth, and the Amalgama Project. Daniel Fetecua Productions also produces the Latitudes Dance Festival, a platform for Latin American and Native dance companies.
