Set in the Bronx, ARSENIO! follows Yennifer, a teenage girl preparing for her audition at the Bronx Academy of the Arts while escaping into her phone. When the spirit of legendary Afro-Cuban composer Arsenio Rodríguez appears in her bedroom, generations collide. Through live music and multimedia projections, they journey through son cubano—the sound that helped give birth to salsa in the South Bronx—while confronting questions of heritage, ambition, and belonging.
